dahl


2 onions chopped..
2 cloves of garlic crushed..
200gm red lentils
2 tsp ground cumin..
half tsp tumeric powder..
sprinkle cayenne pepper
1 tbl bouilion powder ( stock)
salt and pepper to taste
 juice of half a lemon ..

soak and rinse lentils for 10 mins
gently heat onions and garlic for a few mins 
stir in the spices and seasoning
add 100ml water and leave to simmer until lentils are soft.
add juice of the lemon (to taste)
 serve with a sprinkle of cumin xx its as easy as that!!
